I think they wanted KTM's but they turned them down - hence the BMW's.

No it was definately they didn't think a couple Of TV stars could do it.
One of KTM's advisors said that pair didn't have a hope in hell of doing it.
They just said it a bit more politely :D
But back OT looking good on the restoration. Excellant stuff so far.

Looking good spanner. Reminds me of the days gone past when I used to tinker around with bikes. Had a doner bike of a Suzuki GS400 twin (cost me £35) that I made into a hard tail chop... Will see if I can find the pics (old school photograph pics!!)

Keep up the good work and keep posting the updates... Looking forward to seeing it finished :)

Looks like you have a tough job good luck with the rebuild ,
I'm doing a cbr600fm at present (pictures on this site)putting it all back together now and had the engine running at the weekend going to come to a standstill for a while ,as I have an extention on my house commencing on the 15th Aug so I'm going to be doing other things

Hi Clarkey, yes its going to be a bit the same with me, just put the engine in and when i get the loom and electrics done its going to be autumn , to cold then to respray, need that warmth for a good finish, but thats what i had planned anyway:)
