A big thanks to all Forum Admin people - your efforts whilst not always recognised are (whether they realise it or not) appreciated by all members. After all, without your support the wheels would soon come off.
Think that could be forum ‘admin’ singular, one hard working person call Wayne who saved a sinking forum that was captainless a few years back.
In full agreement. Now this forum is back to the way it was and is a pleasing to listen and help if i can to genuine people. But in my opinion that bike is unrepairable.
My compressor has an attachment that you stick up it’s pipe and it blows it all back to shape I tell you!!!
Nooooo. Just a bit of wd40 and it will be fine. Wayne has done a great job, keeping us going when Rob didn't give a flying f*ck what happened. We have lost some members and gained others but it is still a friendly and helpful place for some old boys and girls to natter about our bikes. Cheers Wayne.
Hi All, Thanks for your kind Words. This is an opportunity to up date you on where we are Admin wise. Firstly I am still plugging away killing spam and helping as much as i can for the love of this Forum. The latest update is, i heard from Rob. ( who owns the forum). He told me he dont come on here much (if at all ) and that he has other projects and will be selling the forum at some stage. This could be a good thing.. i Hope. As long as its sold to someone with good IT skills and has a love of Triumphs like we do. It sounds like Rob has lost interest in the forum and is moving on. I have asked him to keep me in the loop and i will forward any correspondence on to you all as i receive it. Keep the faith and hopfully things will change for the better.
So Rob might be selling up, that's a shame, as I know a lot of people on here will miss his valued contribution to the day to day running of it. .
What sort of money is a forum like this worth? I’ve honestly no idea. Would it be possible to buy it between the current members? Could Wayne be tempted to run it for a fee? Is this just all bollocks I’m writing?
Do we get more emojis to rate posts with if we subscribe? I saw some really corny jokes being rated with face-palm emojis a few days back. But that & others don't appear in my box of emojis.
I get it, @Bikerman and, on principal, I might not resubscribe either. But there are many on here whom I consider friends who are way worth more than the annual sub price. Plus I can't stand wading past those ads...many of which are aimed at the male crowd if ya know what I mean. Hmmm, is THAT part of why you've not re-subscribed?
@Sandi T Just done it. Might have to sell one of my bikes now, It's put me on the poverty line again. Fancy doing a crowd funding for me, just to tide me over till next month.
Wayne. If Rob does sell. Could we the members not club together to buy it and place the whole forum in your hands.
