Hi. I have a T140 which always was good at starting, although I always needed to depress the enhancement lever, whether hot or cold. It's been in storage for 4 years and is now really difficult to start. When it does eventually start it runs and idles perfectly, but almost impossible to restart when hot. I've removed and cleaned both carbies several times and played around with the mixture. It's now set at 1.5 turns out but the plugs appear to be blacking up. Any ideas, I'm stumped.

I'm no mechanic but I would check these first....
    Sticking choke slides and cables.
    Air filters blocked.
Sticking floats in carbs or too high/low.
    Clean fuel.
If the bike was fine before the layoff the fuel would be bad but you have cleaned the jets, you may have to go over your work again checking all.

Thanks mate. I've checked most of that, but I'm leaning towards the carby floats possibly. Could be flooding? I've had them off and on a few times, but might have to have another look. I'm stumped otherwise.
