    Hi,

I’ve ordered a Triumph Thruxton 1200R 2016~ ABM Superbike Fat Bar Handlebar Kit, since an off my shoulder is knackered and the clip-ons are too uncomfortable for me. From what I understand, to install this I’ll need to remove the fairing to make full steering clearance. Besides which, I wanted to remove the fairing anyway for a more naked look (yes, yes, I know - buy a bonneville).
If anyone with some mechanical know-how could give me any advice I’d be delighted. Would rather not have to pay a mechanic to do something I could (hopefully) do myself.
Makes sense to do the fairing removal along with handlebar installation for practicality.
Can someone with a bit of know-how help me out?

    Cheers guys & happy riding.

The high risers do work with the fairing, had them on mine.

I will be, I am just waiting on the mechanic who is going to do some work on my bike who is waiting for the parts he’s ordered. Once that is done, I’ll be selling the fairing/brackets etc.
