During my today's 10.000 km service I took a BMW K1600B for a 100 km testride. Some specs of the bike: 6 cylinder motor 1.649 ccm 160 HP 180 Nm 344 kg weight It was real interesting to ride this bike. Very smooth acceleration. You are able to ride 50 km/h with the 6th gear in the city. If you want you can push it too. Then it accelerates really good. The weight is only noticeable in very narrow serpentines. It is nevertheless very easy to ride under any conditions. The bike was equipped with nearly all conceivable extras. - radio with speakers - extra gear to move the bike backwards into parking lots - central locking including the luggage equipment - electric movable windscreen - ... Prices start at €31.000.- Special feature: A two tone horn. I never heard a better horn on a bike. Sounds like a big truck. In the following some pictures.
@joe mc donald: This kind of bike would be interesting for me in the future at my retirement. Alternative would be a Honda Goldwing. The prices of HD's are not affordable here in Austria.
@Markus Yes tend to agree with you. I seem to be going down in size these days still waiting for the 400 street scrambles coming in to Bulldog. And the HD'S seem to be over priced every where. Joe
Baza bet me to it as I was thinking the same. Jeez 344kgs now that is getting ridiculous and x2 bikes in one of many other models.
