Well I think I have finally made a decision on some panniers/saddlebags.
My thoughts on saddle bags are that a tradional leather saddle bag is huge all the time wether or not your using it all or not. I liked the Burly brand but they are kinda small, I think they where 16 or 18 liters.
I'm really liking this bag from R9 customs.
22oz waxed canvas and real leather
has 2 water bottle pockets with drain holes. And a nice front pocket too.

Seriously heavy duty mounting Pointe, 3 layers. These can attach right to the stock triumph pannier brackets.

Inner lining is also rubber backed.

What they would look like on a Bonnie.

I like how versatile this bag is, can go from 16 liter to 24 liter. The are pricey at $279 each U.S. but you get what you pay for. They can be had in other colors too.
I still don't have the bike home so I'll save a few more pennies before I order them. I think they are Australian made.

I didn't end up getting the bags above. I went with burley bags for less money. I got both of these bags for the cost of 1 of the other bags.
They look right on the bike but they are a bit fidley to open and close. They work for now but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them. The size is ok for daily use. I might like something larger if I go on tour.

Have seen a few sponsored reviews of NiceCNC saddlebags, but not any from people who have paid their own money!

    Has anyone tried them please?
