    Hi

    Got 2016 Thruxton R today from Pidcocks and sure previous owner had posted pic of same bike when first purchased. Original owner had taken very good care of it. See:

    This is to replace my 2015 Newchurch which I sold a few weeks ago Back to its original owner. Here's pic and hoping dry weekend so can try it out. right edit.jpeg

    Great choice of colour, you will love the bike.
    Interesting choice of modifications. Were they done by the original owner?

    Previous owner did changes. Got few things planned. Suspension setup local guy. Front carbon mudguard & bracket. Carbon heel plate. Black headlight rim. Fit dark screen. Smaller mirrors. Small number plate. Chrome cam cover. Black petrol cap. Some Arrow headers so can remove cat. May need to change gear lever as size 12s struggle get under lever. Had to do same on Bonnie.

    Keen to see what the carbon bits look like on it.
    Are those gold levers shorter than the standard ones?
    I didn’t bother changing mine longer the better.

    Really nice colour and I do like those bikini fairings. Before you let anyone tinker with the suspension settings you need to speak with @timboo about the job he had done on his machine at Silverstone, which can’t be that far from you. Coincidentally it’s the same colour as yours :joy:

    @Baza cheers forgot about that.

    BG motorsport are an Ohlins specialist. They will also sort our the Showa forks and are well clued up on the Thruxton R.
    Give them a bell they will ask you your weight as the stock rear springs can be quite limited.
    Mine were replaced with uprated springs.
    Absolutely pleasure to deal with and to top it off very reasonably priced.
    Bike is now to my weight with all riding gear accounted for. Handling a lot sharper.
    I just need to make sure i don’t go on a diet or eat a truck load more

    They are not the short Pazzos & not sure if same length as standard ones. They are also folding ones. I am not keen on the gold as prefer if were black. I've had to get adjustable gear lever as struggled changing gear my size 12 feet. Got Palmer Products Versatile Gear Shifter. Yet to try it but seems well made.
