Newbie here but not new to Triumph. Currently I own a 2020 Triumph Speed Twin 1200. Do I love it? ummmmm...almost? lol I love the looks of it and wish to change a few things. The ride? maneuverability is excellent. However, I don't like how it drops forward when braking...wrists! I would like to upgrade my exhausts from stock to the BC Predators, get clip-ons or clipon style bars and change out the wheels. I would really like to swap them for the 2016-2019 Thruxton R spoke wheels. Other than that, glad to be here! And now that I'm living in SoCal, can't wait to venture out. TelvisTed (nickname...I'll let you know how I got that name someday)
Welcome to the forum. My handsome husband is from Costa Mesa! Though he left there many years ago (about 1973) and after living in GA for the past 15 years he's still trying to get used to the humidity (yes, I know, I know, beautiful Costa Mesa weather...). Hope you enjoy the forum!
Welcome from the other corner of the country (NJ)! Your complaints about weather fall on deaf ears here! We have a foot of snow on the ground and overnight temps in the teens and twenties (daytime just above freezing). But I did have both bikes out 10 days ago in 50+ degree weather before the snowfall (Sprint GT and Trophy SE). That said, we have May plans for the Great Smokies, and probably a Nashville visit. And another trip to the Canadian Maritimes (Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island only this time) mid-summer. For now, I'm spending more time on two skis than two wheels! ha, ha
