Hi Yorkie if I may can I suggest you consider Avon AM26 roadrunner tyres. I had two sets on my T100 and found them to be excellent. Good wear characteristics; excellent grip both wet and dry plus made the bike feel more comfortable.
Cheers Ade, although Mrs Al is only 5ft 2" on a good day, she could make my life 'uncomfortable'. But up to now all is going quite nicely and she even cooked my tea after I suggested getting a Beemer to play with
Today I mainly be cleaning the rear wheel.....................and find a broke spoke!!! Got to take the wheel out to do it as its on the disc side, I think I may be able to let deflate the tyre to unscrew the nipple, or might be a good excuse to get the bike shop to do it as I can get the new AM 26 rear tyre fitted at the same time, disc was replaced last year so should come off easy enough, not time consuming.
I was down there last week Steve with work (head office). The Tuesday evening was lovely and warm and the turn out of bikes was a sight to see. There was even a display of weirded and wonderful push bike creations ranging from customs with ape hanger handle bars to low riders with wide wheels. Really nice evening just milling about the bikes and people watching, then a bit of eating and drinking when it went dark
Lucky bugger.... I'm stuck at work until 4.30.. Then its home time and then off to salisbury for an nice evening ride out to the Haven bike meet
This pic does make her look shiney I may have given her a wipe down at lunchtime today but no polish though.... to busy riding or working to get the polish out. .....
So today on my Triumph I collected my Dads Ashes and took him for a last Spin on the Bonnie. I'm sure he would have approved !!
Feels awkward to like the comment - but I am sure your dad would be looking down with a smile. Love the sentiment ( unless your dad hated bikes). All the best mate
Just seemed like a Good idea at the time, Ashes needed collecting and it felt the right thing to do, He was bloody Heavy in a Back Pack mind ! He would have appreciated it I'm sure
