My 2014 T100 has just 1400 miles and had been running just fine. Now when I push the start button it sounds like the starter engages briefly then disengages. If I hold the button down, it will engage, disengage, pause for a second then engage/disengage again, etc.. After I go through this 5 or six times it may engage for a couple of engine revolutions then disengage. Eventually it engaged long enough to start the motor. It has a brand new battery at 100% charge. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions would be great. Many thanks in advance.
The starter motor doesn't spin up independently, it was only turning over when engaged with the flywheel. I replaced the relay and it all seems good now. Thanks.
