Hi all. Has anyone had any experience with Ixil exhausts? Any good? I saw this one on eBay and and not sure as it's a name I am not familiar with: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12587193...-ad8a-92c969ae151c|iid:1|vlpname:vlp_homepage
Richard Cheek. These days you have to be aware that very soon old plod will be firing up with the noise pollution and bikes are the target as another way of collecting revenue. You know they don't deal with crime any more no money in it. Joe
When you take the original off the exhaust flap valve will come off too so you'll need a Healtech module too. Exhaust Servo Eliminator (ESE) - HealTech UK
Hi Dickie, the machine Richard has is pre 2023, therefore the sensor is on the header pipes and no servo eliminator is required, the ECU automatically re calibrate to the new end can, the replacement fits directly to the header pipes with no modifications required. Hope this assists.
I had Ixil on my Kawasaki 636, really nice exhaust, but the end bolts that connect the end caps were made of cheese , two of them snapped
The link at the top shows the exhaust valve removed which is operated by cables from a servo motor. If you also remove the cables & servo you get an error on the dash so need the Healtech eliminator.
