I agree, it was based on 2 hours labor I think, actually took less time than that.
I'll say this, the triumph dealer I go to has a good stock of new bikes on the floor. Most motorcycle dealers near me have very little on the floor. I do get treated well at this dealership and the mechanic comes out and talks with me about the bike, I like that.

Well here's one of the reasons I rewelded the givi rack to fit the bonneville, I installed a givi top box plate to it and it fits perfectly and still retains the smaller size when the top box is not on it. I don't want the box on all the time, just when I need it to cary things or if my girl is on the bike with me. Now it will give here something to lean against and feel more secure. 20230618_184328.jpg
This is the Givi top box mounted on my ebike. Now it's super easy to switch back and forth and not have to purchase another top box just for the motorcycle. I think it's about 30 liter so it's a smaller box. I use it to carry my lunch bag and thermos for my daily work commute. A full face helmet will fit inside of it.

Last weekend I was riding with a couple of friends and we got caught in a brief ran shower, just enough to trash the bikes, lol.
So my Bonnie got it's first real bath. Up until this point I have just wiped it down but today it was time for a proper bath.
I prefer S100 bike wash. I've used it for years. It works great and it's safe to use on everything. I just spray the whole bike down. It's pretty cool watching the dirt run off without even scrubbing. But I did sponge down the pipes.

I took the saddle bags off before the wash. Thoroughly rinsed it off with just the hose, no pressure washer.

really does a nice job. The alloy wheels look nice again too. After the rinse I blow it all off with a leaf blower and some compressed air and then wipe it down with my favorite ceramic spray.

Bags back on and she looks great again.

Greg!! Great info on your experience with the T120 and accessories; I live in NE Indiana, north of Fort Wayne.

I am currently researching the T120 and learning as much about it as possible; watched many youTube videos; I am retired and over the years have owned 6 Hondas, 1 1971 Triumph 650 Tiger, my last was a 2002 Harley Road King (gifted to my son in law); haven't ridden in some 8 years or so. Got bit by the bug when I saw the T120.

    When I pull the trigger on the T120, I will follow the same accessory path you did except for the rack. I do have the following questions though;
What is the name of the Triumph dealer you used in Detroit and maybe the street?
Is there any oil consumption between oil changes?
    Any oil leaks?
Is the gas tank rubber mounted? Tiger gas tank was hard mounted to frame and was a speaker/amplifier for engine noise.
    Any new issues?
    Thanks, RickM46

Triumph dealer I purchased it from and also who I get my parts from is Triumph Detroit on Van Dyke Ave. They also own several Harley and other motorcycle dealerships. I know the have dealerships in Illinois, not sure where else.
No oil consumption as the bike is just coming up on 2,000 miles.
No leaks of any kind and no drips.
Pretty sure the tank is rubber mounted except for the bolt that attaches it at the rear of the tank. It's a very quiet bike, just the low rumble of the exhaust.
I'm still super happy with it.

    Thanks Greg!
Made the trip to JT Triumph in Battle Creek Saturday and pulled the trigger on a new 2023 T120 Jet Black. Will be picking up the bike on Monday.

Gave it a good going over; 5.7 miles on the clock; got down on the floor and inspected it close up; ran my hand over the bottom of the crankcase and came up with no oil - bone dry; totally impressed by build quality - you would think it was oriental. Difference is night and day from my 1971 Triumph 650 Tiger; Triumph got their act together. Been studying the online owners manual; mucho electronics like a car; good stuff!

Have ordered thru the dealer the rack and grab rail, black comfort seat, sump guard plate, center stand. Bought 3 oil filters and 4 qts of Pennzoil 10W-50 synthetic. Will be ordering the Manstad windshield, probably the 22 inch since I am 6'2". Will definitely study your videos.

Be sure to contact madstad and ask about how to measure for the correct windshield height. It actually takes 2 people to do it right. Kinda depends on if you like to look over your windshield or through it. Be patient with them, each windshield is made custom per order and takes some time to make.
Yes I too think the build quality is very high on the new triumphs, love mine, no issues.
At least the weather is holding out for us for a little while here in Michigan so you'll get some break in miles on her. Congrats on your purchase
    Mine as she sits today.

Question pls Woodtickgreg. Did you have to alter those engine guards? I ordered a set after looking at your video. But they would not fit. The bolt head was very slightly too large to drop in. Also saw that was the case on their website & that they were working on them for the '23 models but have heard nothing back since.

I only had one bolt head that would not fit inside the flange on the moton guard. It was an easy fix, I just slightly ground off very little material all the way around the bolt flange until it dropped in. It wasn't much material removal at all. Basicly one light pass all the way around the bolt flange. All the bolts fit the bike no problem, just one wouldn't clear the guard flange.
I think I also mentioned that in the video.

Hi WT; been researching a rack for my 2023 T120; went to the Givi website (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle...MIw7-Z6aGCggMVy9_jBx2SyAEQEAQYAiABEgJmn_D_BwE) and found the rack at Revzilla of N. Carolina; read their installation instructions and reviews and saw this in a review:
    Perfect on my 2023 T120
I just installed these on my 2023 T120. Although the directions don't explain, you do have to remove 4 screws and drop the rear fender to get access to the bolt holes. The welded end pieces were a little cockeyed out of the box but I was able to straighten them out on the bench vise. It does help to have an extra set of hands to re-install the rear fender. much more affordable option than the Triumph OE rack. I might give it a shot.

Most guys have had no problem installing the givi rack. I have no idea why it was so far off on mine. But my fix worked and I li e the size and strength of the givi rack and I would recommend it.

Yet another question Greg regarding the center stand; did you install yours??
