    In conjunction with my wife:heart_eyes:, we discussed and debated our current and future motorcycle usage. We each have 2 bikes since 2022. Since she has only ridden about 3,000 km on her T120 this year and a total of 8.500 km she has decided to sell it. On October 8, her T120 will now be picked up. She will probably replace her Tiger 900, which she has been riding since 2020, in 2024. Possible alternatives for her at the moment are: Kawasaki Z900RS, Honda CB1000R, or a Yamaha XSR900.
    I myself was since April 2022 14,000 km with my T120 and since July 2022 parallel with my Honda NT1100 33,000 km on the road and have also made a decision for me. Due to an almost "immoral offer" from a local dealer, I traded my T120 for a demonstration vehicle with 1,750 km with a moderate enumeration. So now I am the owner of a BMW R1250 RS Triple Black Edition with 136HP and an incredible 143 Nm torque. Since this bike is an extremely strong sport tourer, my Honda will also be sold this week. 2 sporttourer are simply too much.
    Therefore, we both drive soon for the time being only one bike. Of course, we will continue to make all of Europe "unsafe" o_O.

    Yesterday I mounted original hard shell cases on my bike and started a business duty tour through Austria and Germany. Until now I have done more then 1.000 km with it. It is really impressive and cool to ride.

    It's hard to argue with a sport tourer! My GT has 42,000 miles on it, and is still getting lots of miles per year. But I do like the BMW! I don't like the price or the maintenance, but it sure is cool looking!

    They're very underrated and "probably" the best sports tourer out there. If you don't carry a pillion or go off road in many cases it should be the bike you choose instead of a GS..... oh wait, you did :cool:

    I thought the 1200 was good when I test rode one back in 2018 againt the Kawasaki ZX1000RS, but the 1250 engine is a real peach, with the slightly lower gearing than a GS if you're a smooth rider you can ride for miles and not need to touch the brakes and overtakes are instantaneous. It's loads cheaper than a GS in equivelent spec too. Not that I've been looking of course......

    Congratulations on the new bike, @Markus! Sounds like you are already riding the heck out of it and that you and it have become good buddies. I'd love to hear a bit of a report with your thoughts and observations on the bike--a bit of a "review" of sorts--if you're up for doing that for us.

    RE: the NT1100. could you give a quick summation of your thoughts on it pls? They haven't brought it to the US yet but if they do I'm thinking I might swap the 'Wing for it.

    @Traveler:
    The NT-1100 is a great bike for longruns. I did on my journeys through Europe up to 900 km per day. I used the original seat without a change to the available comfort seat from Honda. I did not need it. The standard windshield is in my opinion the best weather and wind protection on all available bikes on the todays bike market. The fuel consumption is also great. At European highway speed limits (130 km/h) you need about 4.9 to 5.0 litres/100 km. The 102 HP are enough for touring. The service costs are moderate and in comparison to Thriumph bikes lower. Depending on your riding style you should be able to make 13.000 to 15.000 km with a single tyre set.
    I still have my NT-1100. It may be yours.;)

    Thank you for all that info. I might be interested but I'm afraid the shipping cost might be prohibitive.;)

    Now if they'll just bring it stateside . . .
