At About 20 Miles The Bike Shuts Off

    Destructive? Did you watch the video? It wasn't even too hot to pick up, how hot do you think it gets in a running engine?

    What? I'm American. I don't speak English...
    Tested the Camshaft sensor which was variable at outside temperatures. Anywhere from 5 ohms to 13 ohms. Then took the bike out and terrorized the neighbors before bringing it back and let it run at idle while I went for a beer. Came back out and it was not running. Tested the Camshaft sensor and got infinite ohms.

    @Triumphant Tony "headstock" in English refers to the front part of the frame where the forks attach via the head bearings and yokes.
    There has been a number of issues where the loom passes down the side of the frame in this area as it constantly gets bent with every movement of the steering.

    Just to follow up. I spent 218 AUS for a new one plus gasket. Put it in, and have not had any issues since. It also fixed what I thought was a flooding problem, but wasn't it. I'll post on that thread.
    Edit: Crankshaft position sensor was culprit.
