Eh up, Got this done as well today... New carbon fibre tail unit. Toyed with the tail tidy idea, but decided to keep it standard ish, due to the two main tail tidy offerings not really "doin it" for me. Atb Bob
Cheers Steve. Have a few more planned but everything revolves around £££ When will we see pics of your mods??? Bob
Mmmmmm not sure what mods I want to do in the future. .. I want to get it running properly first. To be honest I've never had a bike that looks the way this one does and a little hesitant to actually change anything at the mo.... give it time though and I'll probably find something that will make me go "ooo I want this and want that too" lol
Not bike stuff, but I spent yesterday at Fairford Air Tattoo watching some fast jets. Highlights were the Red Arrows(of course) and the new F35 Lightning, our new "jump jet"
Out for a soggy ride!! Update on my previous post about taking my girl back to the shop where I bought her from. 1. Typically the intermittent fault never happened when they did a test ride! 2. They are going to fit a new gasket to the clutch housing - no more oil leak 3. Startup issues he couldn't answer. But went out to my main Triumph dealer and he reckons service will sort it.... unfortunately for me the next serice is a full 12k service.... cost of £600 . I was a little shocked at the price. Full days labour at £62.50 an hour....... plus vat! Guess I had better start saving hard.... Maybe next time I should buy with my head and not my heart!
Cheers dd. Sounds like my kind of mechanic I do appreciate though that the 12k service is a biggy. The Triumph dealer did say that they practically dismantle half the bike, check everything and lube it all up (cue the comments about lube)
Google Muddy sump he is the bloke I beleive. He takes bookings and travels around the country. There's another bloke up Lincolnshire way who is a triumph guru and people travel miles to get their bikes done. Someone will be here with all the correct facts soon!
Its like running a Mercedes / BMW etc, theres always an expert out there charging far less, so well worth finding a local one. The very last place my Bonnie will go to for a Service is the main Dealer, its 7 years old and not worth worrying about Dealer History IMHO, but each to there own

Thanks Creaky but I'm a non farcebooker..... Is this the mechanic up Liconshire way? Might just be a tad far for me to travel as I'm down south. Thanks for the info though
Hi all, Today I fitted the carbon frame infill panels. Awful lot of work involved for two bits of "not a lot". Worth it tho I think, it's a good look, and fits in with the rest of the carbon. Maybe more to come yet, we shall see. This carbon addiction costs more than I thought!!! Atb Bob
