    Same gearing?
Oh I forgot, being a woman it was only the gold colour that mattered wasn't it?

I see you went for the black and gold version which I did on my Ducati. I think they look better than the all gold version which I will be shortly fitting to my son’s Panigale. We will have to wait and see the end result.

Collected my Striple from the dealers having had its first annual service and brake fluid change. Only 2k on the clock which reflects not getting out on it enough and also having more than one machine to ride. The Ducati only has about 15k on the clock.

I completely understand @Mrs Visor’s thinking, @Pegscraper! And agree with her choice and “reason”. :):joy:

Fun filled day riding with Auckland and Waikato to see the Bridal Veil falls:sun:. Fog was thick in the morningo_O, so needed to lead the guys seeing only a short distance, made for slippery roads

IMO I'd put fog and mizzle worse than heavy rain for riding in, Whereas rain will run off it's virtually impossible to keep your visor clear without continually wiping it, not to mention the fact than a motorcycle is less visible in fog than a car and before anyone mentions it I've found a Pinlock makes little difference.

Thanks @Mrs Visor, this highway holds green in winter and with the fog we were unable to see it. I stopped at each one lane bridge to regroup, but it was full concentration.
Made the sun so much more enjoyable when the fog parted :sun::party:

I was so happy I polished my visor @Pegscraper, it made it simpler to wipe using my gloves. Some guys had smoked lens on for sun strike, so had to have them open the whole way.
I was looking for the hazard lights on my Storm, only to find they don’t have any :p

Back in the day when my bike was my only means of transport I rode with an open face helmet and a pair of the old Mk X split lens goggles. In fog the goggles were useless so no eye protection. All ok until the temperature was at or below zero. One blink and the eyelashes and therefore the lids of both eyes froze together. Veeery interesting. :joy:

Today Helmut is on call for work so we can't venture too far in any direction BUT he also has his new Ducati to ride, so we had a nice 60 mile jaunt on some good local roads. Fascinating to me to see the top of the bike and rider gliding along when we went on a bumpy / gravely track out of our coffee stop whilst the rear suspension is moving around constantly working hard to make it so - Helmut says it feels really smooth.

I took my Street Triple and obviously had fun - impossible not to on that bike :). Can’t say it smoothly glides over bumps and gravel though :p.

I can remember one particular green lane ride back in the late 80's when we were heading out over Houndkirk Moor near Sheffield on a particularly cold day, snow on the ground and well below freezing. Back then I wore an open face lid and goggles and when we got to the other end, not only were my goggles starting to freeze over but my breath had frozen on my beard and moustache and caked it in ice, like some Antarctic explorer.:joy:. Absolute madness!!

Yep been there, good fun at the time.
It was so cold on one outing that a KTM was running too cool so we externally stuffed the radiator core with grass to hinder airflow :joy:
A lad on a KMX 125 was running rings around us as we were just spinning up on hard frozen ground. His soft power and trials tyres just left us all dead.
