I fitted a TEC steering damper to my Yamaha RD350 LC2 today and it’s off of a Triumph Street Twin! Fits perfectly with a bit of clamp creativity. ;)

My Striple is in for a service on Thursday and the forecast shows it rodding it down so I will deliver it to the dealer on Tuesday and collect it on Friday. All ready for our sojourn to Wales in 3 weeks time.

I might have slipped up a little and put a deposit down on a pottering bike :scream:

We had a nice little Sunday ride group this morning. We met up at 7:30am and it was beautiful--nice and overcast and cooler temps than we've had for the past several weeks. Although it looked like we'd get pummeled with rain, we managed to avoid getting wet. However, over Gates Pass the storm had clearly just passed through minutes before we did as the road was completely wet. So we "tiptoed" our way up and over the twisty parts with rock face on one side and a precarious drop-off on the other. We saw some lighting off in the desert in the distance and could see rainstorms dotting the horizon. It was spectacular! A riding buddy was trying out a new GoPro so if he got some photos I'll post them here.

All in the group agreed to make today's ride a bit shorter than usual based on what the skies looked like. So we went to one of our regular haunts, Coyote Pause, which is a favorite of mine. It was quite quiet there this morning, probably because the skies looked so threatening.

Although some of us typically take the long way home, this time we all opted to take the shortest route. Everyone at the table except for one will be hitting the road to Sturgis bright and early this coming Saturday morning. So we'll get in enough riding (although I think that's an oxymoron for me) during our road trip. So, todays ride was a shortie...but a goodie! And it was only 88ºF when Steve and I pulled into our garage. :sun::)

Ha! Just realized I posted about my ride today on my Speed Triple in the "What have you been doing with your NON-Triumph today?" thread. Those summertime temps--even the mild ones today-- must be taking their toll. :p:joy:

IT'S NOT RED :scream:. Does it have any paint protection on it as matt paint is a bast*rd, once it's marked you're fooked
