Your 2014 bonnie should have come with a centre stand. My 2012 SE had one fitted as standard.
It may be that you have an aftermarket part rather than a genuine triumph one, hence the difficulty.
You could try a paddock stand as wessa has suggested but in my experience they don't work well with the bonneville's low twin exhausts.

Weekly bike night for the Fortress Motorcycle Group last night. Met up at the "clubhouse", Richard's industrial unit at Leeming Bar :D

Good run out to the Kings Arms at Masham, followed by a further run to the Cover Bridge Inn near Leyburn.

I have a 2010 bonneville se and when I got it it was fitted with an aftermart centre stand that was horrible every time I tried to put the bike on it the bike was always trying to fall away from me. The reason was the stand fixing points would only fit to the left or right of the bikes fixing points, ie to wide to fit inside or not wide enough to fit outside of the bikes fixing points. I ended up having to get an original triumph stand from ebay, I was lucky as they don't come up for sale very often, the bikes very stable now.
Keep your eyes peeled on eBay and good luck.

    @steve lovatt

Love that bridge photo, Steve! The customization on that gray Harley is really interesting, particularly the tank and the ape hangers. Are those swirl designs as three-dimensional as they look in the picture?

Thanks Sandi - just arrived there at the right moment. :D

Yes, Richard's business is custom fabrication, mainly for Harleys. He does some general repair and maintenance but specialises in building full custom bikes or adding bling to existing ones.

The detailing on the bars, tank and rear mudguard is all separately made and added to the bike.

Warrior paddock stand arrived today for the Street Triple. Had to remove the previous owners cheap and nasty bobbins first before I could fit my new Triumph ones.

One came out but the other didn't - cue drilling, grinding and tapping before I could fit the new one :D

So today was the annual Barton bike night run.

The weather forecast was shocking, right on the hotspot timing wise :worried:

So a 72 plate z1000sx met up with a wild child on a 675R and yours truly elected to come two's up on a Street Twin ( over a 765 RS) :joy:
It was decided that I would lead :yum
The torque of the 900 motor plus the rain would soon try them out

And we made our way the 50 or so miles across country using backroads and getting thoroughly damp in the process.

On initial arrival the rain gods had simply killed the event........ however, better weather was just around the corner :)

First wander wasn't very productive and once the heavens opened then a fish butty x4 times was the order of the day, if only to sit inside the shop

    Then the rain stopped......

    What on earth is this?

And a further inspection of attendees ensued.....

Now I was particularly interested in the blue Suzuki as having ridden the naked version when they first came out, I was impressed. Good enough brakes, suspension and handling with an adequate motor

The variety of bikes attending this event is so wide, its remarkable.

Look at the pipe on this, is it an Akropovic or SC project?

So, despite the heavy rain early on, the ones who persisted were rewarded with a great evening out.
The young lad (15) with the 38 bhp 250cc speedway bike sounds like an upcoming star, just off shot to the right, and all.

    20230708_173029.jpg

A ride across the Humber bridge followed, with me leading as I knew the route due to a previous work commute from years gone by. A ride by of the zoom cafe and then a nice selection of bumpy B roads followed. The guy on the Z1000sx commented later that he was launched from his seat 2 or 3 times, to which my passenger agreed :joy::joy::joy::cool:

A great afternoon out, despite the damp sensation, for a 110 mile or so run and the ST still delivered 55 mpg.
Cheers Vince and Andrew for an enjoyable few hours.

A quick "sound off" where we were parked for the crowds followed and an SC project triple couldn't out do my Vince & Hines baffle less twin

Oh and even the attending police were impressed with the ST grunt from a standing start, not!
......... and that was before I reached the " Road Closed" signs on the way out :eyes::party::neutral:... at least the barrier Marshall found it funny :yum

This bike brings out the hooligan in me more than the two Street Triples I have

On arrival home a clean was in order as the mudguards, or lack of, did nothing for keeping the bike or rider clean.

    20230708_195925.jpg

So add a glass of wine (and maybe a jetwash) and voila
