I commuted on my Street Triple yesterday. It has stayed in the garage today as I worked from home, but I did order it some new tyres in my lunch break :).

    Ms. Maggie's first bath!

I generally don't wash mike bikes but every couple years. I kinda' like the road warrior look, although I do keep after the chrome so it doesn't get pitted. I took possession of my 2018 Speedmaster in November 2020. She was a bit dirty after two and a half years. It was such a nice day here today I decided to give her a bath.

    Ain't she purty?

Helmut is on call for work so can’t stray far from home and we have a BBQ to go to shortly, so I just popped 25 or so miles up the road on the Street Triple for a delicious breakfast after my run this morning. Beautiful weather at last .

Where the Wolds meet the sea
I was out on my Street triple too Mrs V. It was just too nice weather not to. I ended up at a local (to me) watering hole for bikers. Seaways Cafe on the Yorkshire Wolds. Being a Saturday afternoon, it was quite busy with a variety of machinery on display. There was a '70's RD250, I think it was a YDS7 actually, I should've taken a photo of it, a very nice RD350 LC in Blue, quite a few Triumphs of differing models, To brand new bikes with barely any miles on them. As you can see I parked up next to a new RS in the lovely gold colour. Does it belong to anyone on here? Made my black 2017 bike look rather dowdy, but then again I didn't pay £11k + for mine. :) swc1.jpg

I really like the new yellow colour RS; cosmic yellow I think. I have heard Seaways is a good place to go to - hope you enjoyed your ride.

So a bit of supermarket shopping early on to earn some brownie points from the wife and we're off .....
    :joy:

A mate and I meet up at Squires and head off into ...... err where do you want to go?
    No idea!
Ok lets go to Manor farm cafe (Bellerby) by Calimoto.
Excellent choice with some oddball little roads on the "super twisty" setting.

    Screenshot_20230520_205418_Gallery.jpg

From there we went to the Tan Hill pub.

What a cracking bike these 765's are: The 1200 Ducati with me is 150 bhp and at no point did I feel mine was lacking.

A pee stop near Kilnsey Crag.

A great day out with excellent weather and some ideal roads. Good company, no hassle, enjoyable day.

The lad with the Ducati has a 675 str also ;)

Oh and apparently, the new Scorpion pipe sounds pretty good from behind when the triple motor is singing

Anyone considering Tan Hill pub for a run out and food stop, here is the menu for your perusal.
Of what I saw and smelt, it appeared good, but we just had pop and crisps as time was getting on.

I have just dropped my Street Triple off at the local bike shop tonight as the owner was going to be there (the shop whose lovely owners lent me the 125 a couple of years ago) for the new tyres to be fitted tomorrow. I am on lates at work and can’t get it tomorrow, so will work from home Tuesday so I can go and collect it :).

Chester DGR today, perfect weather (perhaps a little warm to be sat in a pack of ~100 bikes negotiating Chester’s busy twisty streets at just over walking pace), good company and money raised to tackle important issues. Will put report / pics in DGR thread in the next day or so.

M56 closed for bridge repairs, Chester Marathon and tourist season made the ride home rather drawn out:confused:.

Stopped at the Four Ways café for late lunch, must have been another hundred or so bikes in the car park.

    Riding season ’s finally here:).

Sadly my break time only allows me to bring it the three miles home rather than go on a lovely ride, but it's a perk for sure!!

Out on my own so decided after opening and closing a good few gates that it was time for coffee. A few miles further and coffee again. A man cannot have too much coffee.

A pet peeve I have with the motorcycle is how the chain grease gets all over the place
I went to a moto expo on Friday, not much to report about bikes but bought this grease as it promised zero fling ...
Tried it this weekend, 400Kms and yup, no grease all over the place! I like it !

On Saturday I went to Seaways cafe on my Street triple and parked next to a new 23 plate RS, See my earlier post here. Fast forward to today and I was back there {again on the RS) look what I parked next to. Common as much these 765 RS's. Lol

I have some similar "older" product from Ipone that does a fair job but lacks the top pipe nozzle bit. Your's must be an upgraded container, I'll keep an eye out for some.
