    Hi all,

Got an issue with my 2004 30k Speedy 955.

It seems to splutter a bit at low revs, right at the point of pulling away so its a bit sketchy as the revs drop for a second or so and makes it a bit of a bitch to ride.

Ive replaced plugs, fuel filter, changed MAP with Tune ECU.

Ive not tried the ECU reset thing yet, i was going to try that tonight.. Does the engine have to be cold? and is it just a case of fire it up (not touching throttle) and waiting until fan comes on then switching off with the key?

Its got standard exhaust which is cut down a little with just an aftermarket silencer

I have chassis number between these numbers so it must be one of these maps:

I think i put Map 10159 on if i remember correctly.

If i do the reset, do i need to redo the map and do i need to reset the TPS?

Ive started running the bike on Super plus unleaded as its still E5 and i believe the normal E10 unleadded can affect the plastic fuel tank.

Thanks for any help and advise guys.

I would reset TPS. I run my 2001 Speed Triple on E5 fuel as well.

TuneECU will allow you to reset TPS. I've used it for a few years now.

Pretty sure you need the paid for version and cable, best one is a lonelec but these are about 20 quid or so and so is the subs for the software. Do you know anyone near you who has tuneecu and can help or are you in a bike club?
