    Yes it was @Mrs Visor
We had a coastal 1st night, two nights in a bothy and the rest inland at various lochs.
Probably walked around 75+ k in the week with some fantastic scenery.
We saw various wildlife including Red Deer, Roe Deer, Red Squirrels, Arctic Hare and various birds.

Obviously noted a few new nice biking roads for my next venture North ;)

It's the sort of thing my Dad would have done with me when I was younger, creates some brilliant memories.

Glad you got out on your Blade and that your weather has improved, @Mrs Visor! Bummer on those road conditions, though. I'm sure that your bike looked much better than that newer Blade. Of course it did...our own bikes always do. ;)

I take it that's a picture of your son cooking the bacon, he looks very happy. :)

Changed the fuel filter on the Z today. Believe it or not, this filter is not listed in routine maintenance as a changeable item on pre 2016 models and no separate filter is listed on parts diagrams........."if fuel filter or pump problems are found, change the fuel pump". Yeah right. At around £500 I don't think so. A bit of research revealed that the filter can be changed with a fuel pump strip and a filter from one of Kawasaki's quad bikes is identical and available for £12! Now that's more like it:grinning:.
It wasn't actually giving trouble, yet, but an issue avoided I think. It's supposed to be white.........

Had an issue at the isle of man, manx gp 2011 all down to a fuel filter.
Yamaha 600 thundercat wouldn't rev out past 6000 for long before fuel starvation, obviously high sustained flow demanded more than my usual commute :p
    Nice preventative maintenance

The photos BikerPics took on Sunday were put on their website tonight; I downloaded all six seeing as Honda are paying and am chuffed that only one captured the tailgating car on my first pass :). I did try and put one up here but after four size adjustments it still won't upload o_O.

@Mrs Visor do a screenshot of the image on your phone and it will compress it.

I often do that as the image size allowance on this site is quite restrictive, and often catches me out, so presumably hasn't kept pace with phone camera development.

I thought I'd look like the Michelin Woman as I had so many layers on as is customary for me; I do not enjoy getting cold on a bike :p.

This weekend Helmut is still on call for work but instead of me leaving him and going off on my own on my bike like the whole of last weekend, I took the Blade and him the Nightstorm and we visited a few people in the local area with a bike shop / workshop and a riding school and then a quick run up to Dom’s bike stop (we have to stay very close to home). Nice afternoon out and enjoyed showing off my new bike to people who hadn’t seen it yet .

I absolutely love it. I feel very lucky to have two bikes that I feel like that about :).

Just the annual MOT on the Z with a whopping 890m covered since last year ( that Triumph hogging my affections again!:joy:).

I just tried this with the Ipad. I took a pic with it which would upload but when I cropped it with a screenshot it wouldn't upload as it was too large. Eh?

Today I commuted on the 'blade. 10% chance of rain at my destination at 1200hrs reckoned the weather app, 10% of light rain at home at 0500hrs, so not bad at all.

I got up and out at 0450hrs to do my phys before work as always - very light rain did indeed fall, but roads pretty much dry by the time I left at 0630hrs. All was fine until I reached a big hill about 15 miles into the journey…I entered fog at the top and as I came down the other side (dodging a big diesel spill for good measure) it had clearly been raining very heavily and was indeed still raining, but fairly moderately. So a very damp me and filthy bike arrived at work (having first done a big diversion through the city in rush hour as my usual route had a closed road ).

At least it was nice and dry on the way home, although a few large spots of rain fell as I was leaving work which did initially make me think it was going to be a reverse of the morning’s journey.

All that said, it was still better than being in the car and I arrived at work and at home with a big smile on my face and it was another 80 miles or so I got to spend riding my bike :).

I have had this happen, too, especially if I am trying to include a panorama photo, @Pegscraper. What I do in that case is go back and make the photo smaller on my screen (I typically post from my apple laptop) and then do another screenshot always seems to work for me.
