Featured Rideout Bolton Abbey

This was my fourth trip out this year and the longest at 130 miles.
Obviously it was cold, so heated grips, heated seat and Keiss heated vest deployed.
Decided to stick to main A roads as some of our local B roads stay in the shade all day and we still had a frost at 10.30 am.

Ignored the sign that said no cars and picked my own parking spot

Thanks Sandi, yes it looks a bit desperate doesn't it but I knew I had enough range to get to the nearest filling station.

 

Thanks Markus - I've actually never experienced cold feet, even when my hands were freezing on a bike with no heated grips. My boots are Dainese goretex ones, which I wear with normal socks.
The Keis heated bodywarmer I have allows you to attach heated gloves and heated socks to it, but that would be a lot of wires!
