I wonder what Sam's thoughts are on all this? I'm sure considering Nicola's ( Scotland's First Minister) have reassured him to some extent but what do you make of this Sam?
The French people we spoke to are really worried - they have elections on Sunday and feel that the country will turn even further to the Right. They did not want us to leave at all and felt we held the balance of power against Germany in the EU. The Dutch "leave the EU party" have already called for a referendum. Germany have said they will "make an example of us" to stop other members from leaving the EU! (Anyone trying to escape will be shot!).
Well, I had a brilliant day yesterday, goit what I voted for, saw Cameron snivel his resignation, saw Gideon Bumface hiding behind the curtains, and to top it off watched ZZ top at Glasto on the telly!
Does this mean we can now go back to the good old imperial measurements I hope so, I never did get my head around this metric stuff and I've kept all my old spanners and socket sets . Dave.
Will these mean we'll have to change all bolts and nuts on our bikes? Oh and take those litres of oil out and change em for pints??
They have now indicated an individual UK/Germany trade deal may be possible. Worrying about their sales of BMW, Audi, VW and Mercs no doubt. Not to mention frankfurter sales.
If you're old enough like me you can do both! I work in metric (so easy compared to bloody feet and inches ) but always give measurements in imperial except to young people - it confuses them!
