Went and booked the Tiger 800 XC in for its service at Staffordshire Triumph today and went for a little ride.

I picked up the A53 and headed to Leek and on towards Buxton.

I turned right a few yards after the Winking Man pub and carried on through Longnor and ended up here.

HELP I KEEP LOOSING MY PICTURES:(:(,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'LL POST THEM AGAIN

Sorry Ade no drinky drivey :)

But one things for sure the beer won't be flat and warm like southern beer :);):p

Seriously the pub looked well patronised when I stopped and looked respectable.

They'll probably not accept any more bookings from motorcyclists after mid August:rolleyes:

I usually ride the Grand Meet Up area/roads 2-3 times a year and when I do the first port of call is to Yondermans Cafe at Wardlow for breakfast, about 10-15 mins ride from the Royal Oak.

Just to get your taste buds going:)

Yes big one it's a fine meal using locally sourced produce, the most important meal of the day is breakfast:rolleyes:

My riding partner and I usually meet up about 08.15 and always go for breakfast first, we've become breakfast connoisseurs :):)

The cost of that snack was £6 or £6.50, memories going now just thinking about food:) it puts you on until lunch time

Don't suppose any or many of the attendees will want to face a breakfast like that one after a night on the ale :p

To answer your prayers! image.jpeg I was working at Huddersfield last night and Warrington tonight so thought I'd take the scenic route so I'm at Royal Oak at the mo, having a coffee, on the way, or would be if this had sent. in car unfortunately, ! Loverly roads loverly weather let's hope it's the same in Aug!

To answer a question from earlier, Doombar is the regular beer and they have 3 guest beers. Coffee was good but a bit pricey didn't get the beer prices though.
