Surely its time someone came up with a method to decat the Commander and let it breathe. I put post about it and nobody has came across any. Its so quite for a 1700 twin, feel like a hairdressers bike. My 1600 was a doddle to do, only cost me £22 for two 90 degree elbows to replace cat, the noise was awesome, this bike is embarresing
My mistake, your original post suggests you wanted a better noise which (from the video) these give albeit without decating and allowing the engine to breathe. The only way to remove the cats would be to manufacture new downpipes.....good luck
Changed mufflers / silencers on my 2016 Commander and it sounds great now. Got a set of pipes from British legends. It sounds like a 1700 CC bike should now.
