I've been looking on line about removing the alarm and not really getting anywhere. I was expecting to find a connection that you can buy a plug for to bypas the alarm instead I have loads of black wires in the main loom any help would be appriciated

I know on the 1050's datatool alarm you can use an offcut piece of cable to bypass it. Wouldn't of thought it'll work on this, you wouldn't have much luck finding a wiring diagram for them online as they're not officially published otherwise bike thieves would know how to get them off. I can only see two options: 1) Take it to a mechanics and make it their problem ;) 2) Make an enquiry with datatool for an installation manual for the bike. (Don't say getting it off as they'll think you're dodgy.)

I have taken the alarm to bits and bridged the connector inside the alarm .It was a datatool alarm! i have not read any good things about them. The connector had been taken out the wires had been joined together thats why a blanking plug wouldnt help.

How are your ears doing? I remember the week I got my triumph I was changing the battery leaning in and nearly lost my eardrums not thinking the alarm would think it's under attack by swapping the battery out
