As the title says there is now a choice of tyres for my Rocket, The Avon cobras that come as standard have been great but now there's a choice I've bought a set of Metzeler 888 Marathon Ultras which will hopefully get fitted next week, It will be interesting how they compare to the Cobras for grip and wear.
i also bought a pair of Metzeler Tourance next 2 for my GS (pictured on the right)

Definitely be interested to see mate as I did the opposite with the Nightstorm. For me the Avon Cobra Chromes feel much better on mine but we all know it can change from bike to bike.
    Also.........a very expensive day

It's the 240 rear that does it Steve, i cant bring myself to write down the price thougho_O, i try not to think about the cost, just like the fuel :sob::dizzy: saying that i think all tyre prices are going up just like everything else. i might have to start going out on my bike just twice a week instead of nearly every day!

My reason for asking @Dougie D is I had a Suzuki cruiser back in the day and that had a 240 profile tyre on it. That was well expensive back then, so I hate to think what they are now. To satisfy my curiosity I asked Google. I understand why you don’t want to call it out.

I had a 240 on one of my Harleys about 15 years ago ,can't remember the make of tyres but they were expensive, although nowadays with me having more free time I'm doing about double the mileage which doesn't help!

I know what you mean, being retired I’m on the bikes most days.
