With the 2023 model year bikes coming out in September, what changes would you expect or hope to see?

I realize that major changes aren't likely since the 660 debuted this year, but I find myself wondering if I should hold off purchasing in hopes that cruise control or a full size TFT might be coming down the pike.

More off-road features definitely. There's a gap in the product line up in terms of a smaller displacement ADV. A "mini-Tiger" Rally. More travel, spoked tubeless, more ground clearance, etc. I would buy it. Yes, yes, I know, I refuse to buy a Kawa or Suzuki.

Can't see the cruise control coming (it would mean an even bigger price increase than the two we've had this year already) and it's not something I've ever missed on a bike - but I think many owners would like to see a 17 tooth front sprocket to replace the current 16.
Seems to be one of the most popular mods to new owners and I'll be getting one ASAP after my bike arrives (seem to have been waiting forever but it should be here next month... touch wood).

Other than that, many people complain loudly about helmet buffeting from the screen. I didn't get that on my long test ride in stormy weather, but could depend on prevalent wind direction. Still, it's a popular complaint.

Another is rubber inserts for the rider pegs - seems the metal ones are unpopular due to vibes.

Like you I'm close to purchasing. Thanks for the heads-up about buffeting; I'm taller than most, so it will be an issue for me. Are there any good oversize aftermarket windscreens or just those not-so-lovely clip-ons?

What are the advantages of the other sprocket and how difficult is it to switch them?

Given the turmoil with supply, shipping, etc. I'd bet Bold New Colors are the only changes for 23. I do hope I'm wrong.

Anyone have an idea when the announcement, if any, will be made?

The first 3 gears are very short, so that's the main reason for switching the sprocket. Many are leaving it in 2nd for stops.

As for the screen, there are a couple that seem to do the job - though in my opinion one is just too big. Powerbronze 610 (my preference) and 690. Reasonable price, too, at less than £100.

I'm 6ft and am honestly amazed at how many people the same height that I've seen complaining. I often wonder how much they tried adjusting their screen - it took only a few minutes for me to find the best setting for me (about half way between the two extremes).
