Hello all! I just purchased a 2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. For the past 15 years I have rode Dyna Harley's and since 2016, my Road Glide Special. All I can say, is why did I wait so long to make the switch! I am needing some help on two issues identified by my wife while riding yesterday. I have been scouring the internet with minimal success on a "good option". Issue 1: Passenger foot peg extenders, she would like them to drop and move forward in position. Issue 2: My top box position is straight up and down, not the most comfortable for her, has anyone successfully moved it to a more comfortable position? Thank you!
Hi John, I owned my fxdc from 92 for 25 years,, was OK but nowhere near as much fun as my speed triple.
Hi John and welcome to the forum many options for replacement pegs, https://www.triumphperformanceparts.com.au/adjustable-rider-footpegs-for-liquid-cooled-triump
@John V Greetings, John, and welcome to the forum! Hope you're enjoying that Tiger. I've had (and continue to have) both Harleys and Triumphs. Had 3 Dyna--a Street Bob, a Switchback, and a Low Rider S. Which Dyna or Dyna did you have? I had a Road Glide Special but changed it out for a Street Glide Special. And I have a Fat Boy. Triumph-wise I'm on a Speed Triple RS and had a couple of Thruxtons prior to that. I love BOTH Triumphs and Harleys! Hope you enjoy the forum and that you get some helpful info related to your foot pegs and top box. There are lots of helpful, experienced, and knowledgable folks here so I'm sure you will.
I rode a 2000 FXDX and a 2014 wide glide. Both great motorcycles, but after 1200miles in the first 6 days of having the Triumph, I don't know if I can ever switch back!
