I just received a mini change purse by mail. Normally I always pay with "plastic" money, but occasionally paper money is still in demand. The small change I have to the chagrin of my wife always "sunk" in the pockets and then at the latest when washing clothes it has reappeared. Therefore, I have ordered the mentioned part as a remedy.;)

I have been left a small sum of money from my Grandmother and decided to make a purchase that she would have wholeheartedly approved of and would have appealed to her nature. So I have finally purchased a very nice quality helmet. I absolutely love the design, I was almost afraid to show @Helmut Visor and the forum as it's a radical departure from my "norm" but it's some fun and frivolity and Grandma would very much think it was great, so I shall wear it with pride!!

I have put on a picture I found online of the front as the reflections from me taking a photo were terrible!!

Wise man, it's definitely a source of huge annoyance when items reappear in the washing machine.....what price marital harmony?.

This time my wife and I afforded ourselves a nice piece.
Since we are both tech geeks, we afforded ourselves a TISSOT T-TOUCH CONNECT SOLAR watch that runs for up to 6 months after one charge, or if you have enough light, doesn't need another charge at all. Initial setup is tedious, requiring a smartphone via Bluetooth connection to activate updates and basic settings. But once you've done that, everything works wonderfully and easily.

I did buy two. Thought about getting a spare as well but I'd only forget I had it.

That they are, @Wessa. I had a pair on my Road King a few years back and remembered them being comfortable. But I forgot just how comfortable they really are!

Very nice, @Markus! Just make sure the change purse doesn’t end up in the wash instead of the loose change. ;)

It's extremely interesting to see how TISSOT has implemented the individual modes and the hands of the watches then each "dance" into different positions.

@Sandi T: You are so right! Now I have the chance that I sink the whole thing in the washing machine because of the size of the purse. :po_O

After a new motorcycle accessories store opened in our town a few days ago, my wife and I had to go there to do some shopping starting with the opening day and meanwhile already 2 more times. My credit card already had the pleasure to "glow", because we were successful as feared and have purchased numerous things.
In addition to new shoes, T-shirts, etc. I have purchased the following item. Just right for me as a coffee junkie. ;)

    I recently bought a stethoscope !

It's for the America , no really !
As I have to find the "knock" in the motor. With a big long screwdriver you can't really tell if it's Top or Bottom !
    upload_2022-5-12_9-19-41.png

I really splashed out some big pennies. Cost a whole $11 and change , including free postage LoL.

So I found this on eBay and bought it for the DGR.

    IMG_2314.jpg

It's a far better style for the DGR.

And I'm really glad that when choosing between the Bell Bullitt and the Shoei GT Air 2 the salesman advised me to go with with the latter because the Bell's vents are always open and therefore lets in rain and is noisy and the visor doesn't seal and therefore leaks.

Anything above 30mph and you think you're under Heathrow airport, and the press studs that hold the headlining in press on the forehead and hurt after a while:(. It also has no effect on traffic lights unlike Mrs Visor's new Shoei:D.

Plus side though is visibility is astounding and when you turn your head it doesn't catch the wind like the Shoei does; its like the helmet isn't there:), apart from the noise and the pressure.

Yes, its ECE 22.05 like my Shoei, but you can tell it was designed in and for a place where the sun is out and hot and the coffee isn't too far away.

I'm glad I bought my bike, my Shoei (and my Bell, but only for short rides in the :sun:).

That's a terrific Bell Bullitt for something like the DGR or a bit of run for coffee nearly, @RevPaul". But that bell helmet and a Shoei are almost like two totally different things...not just two different helmets. I've had a number of Bell Bullitts over the years and many of them had some sort of factory custom paint job. I really used them to ride my 2012 Thruxton then later my 2016 Thruxton. These days I stick with my Shoei and Arai full face helmets.

That's just the helmet I want but can't justify it at the moment as there is nothing wrong with my current Shoei

I wouldn't have been able to justify it before really, maybe you'll grab it in the sale at some point? Think I got one of the very few XS left though. I have a pin head....

I’ll be sticking with my Shoei for almost all my rides (the UK rarely gets that hot and I’m usually out on longer rides).

I got the Bullit 2nd hand, clearly hardly used and for about a third of Bell’s list price:)!

In the UK the Bullitt carbon is around the same price as the Shoei GT Air 2 and at the time that I bought my Shoei I could only justify 1 helmet, if I’d gone with the Bullitt as my any weather, any distance helmet, I’d have regretted it.
