    Where now?
Who's up for a "steady" lap of Olivers Mount ( road race circuit on public roads, Englands only one I think). By the look on some people's faces "steady" may have more than one interpretation :joy::joy::joy:

Sky's were looking blue and promising but we had the forecast looming over our heads and so pushed on to Seaways.
Arriving dry and warm, the black skies coming over looked ominous  In the time duration of consuming a can of pop, the carpark turned from bone dry into a river coming our way, directly into the car port area.
A member of staff came out to remove the drain cover to allow our new water feature an escape route; very reassuring :worried:

With an extended pause and a chat to some other bikers the rain stopped and we were on our way again, roads soaked and puddles here and there but otherwise good...... that is, except I'd left my gloves on the clocks and they were now soaking from the downpour :sob:

Got my first service done today (racked up my 600 miles in 3 days). I got this to play on for an hour or so

Its a fast bike, no doubt about that! But it didn't feel fast, it felt dull. Its only the numbers on the dash that say otherwise. Quite underwhelmed to be honest. I had a far bigger smile when I was back on the 765. The RR is not a spot on the superduke but it would probably do a faster lap time on a track. The electronic suspension is good, had it in dynamic and standard modes both of which I had set soft. Also a comfort mode. But the 765's setup is still plusher on bumpy roads.
Anyway, got home and swapped the supercorsas for a set of rosso 4's. A pig of a job, never struggled so much to get the rear off a rim for some reason, lots of puffing, grunting and some swear words got the job done though :grinning:

So thats me all ready for Scotland now :) bike is run in, all accessories on, new rubber that should last the trip. Happy days. I can't wait now

Funny @andyc1 back in the day, around 1990, I had a GPZ 750 and took out the new, then, ZZR 1100..... WOW what a rocket ship motor it had in it but, and its a big but, down some country lanes that I knew well the 750 FELT loads faster yet the clocks on the ZZR were miles in front but it didn't excite me the same at all, in fact it was all too civilised - dull!
Your description here for the 1200 mirrors exactly my memories of my ZZR day out ;)

My tiger went in for its 1200 mile service today (I actually dropped it of yesterday). I thought I would get it back today, but the dealer has kept it until tomorrow, reckons it will be ready by lunch time. I was due to take the tiger 660 sport for the day, but as no stock the dealer sold it. Ended up with a T120. Lovely looking bike that reminded me of my interceptor, with a lot more grunt. Hey ho maybe get to ride the 660 some time in the future :)

Nice turnout at the local bike meet, Dougie! How did it feel to see your old Fat Boy with its new owner and some "redecorating"?

Yesterday I had the pleasure to use my TIGER as a submarine during my 60 km ride home from the office. In addition, my motorcycle clothing also had to serve as diving equipment.
    Conclusion:
The TIGER "enjoyed" the wash cycle. At the weekend I will clean him again and prettify him.
My MODEKA clothing holds completely tight and meets all manufacturer specifications.;)

Commuted to work today, punctuated in the middle of the day by a 24 mile round trip to another work site that happens to be in a rural location with some lovely roads there - it sweetens the fact you're at work on such a beautiful sunny day when you're out riding your bike and claiming mileage allowance .

It was still pretty cold at 0620 this morning when I left but beautifully warm and very sunny on the way home. Just short of 100 miles on a work day isn't bad at all and the commute is certainly enjoyable on the bike (in the main). It was even one of those magical mornings where every set of lights I went through in town either turned green as I approached or stayed green, I didn't have to stop at any once .

The icing on the cake - it was my first ride in my new helmet and I love it :).
