Looks like ive fecked the look of my wheels.
Got bike mid February and was eager to get out on it.
Had a dry day so i wrapped up and off i went, i noticed a lot of white dust on the roads. Turns out this was the salt, i washed wheels down when i got back and dried them off.
However, permanent damage been done to the rims, no amount of lotions, potions and creams can bring back the shine.
When i need next back tyre the wheels sre going in for black powder coat, dont ride too early while salts still there, grrr.

Bad luck mate. You need to treat your bike with some protection before venturing out on salty roads. There are loads of options on the market, such as ACF50 or FS365; other brands are available.

Are you sure you cant bring it back? Are your wheels the stainless spoked variety? Some paste and felt end drill bits might do it. Bad sections could be knocked back with wet n dry.
