    Awesome report! Thanks for sharing
Seeing the map, only helicopter parking? no jets allowed?
A local motorcycle show will be happening in early June and we're already planning to attend

Thanks, Armando! :) Hmm, I don't know whether jets are allowed. Or helicopters for that matter since I don't own either. I was only concerned about where to park my bike since it was really crowded. ;):joy: Have fun at that local motorcycle show in June and post a report and photos please!!

Epic as always, Sandi, and your beautiful bike looked right at home. I have to admit I was taken by some of the attire on offer (ahem), and the doggles were very funny. Obviously some amazing bikes too :)

Thanks, @learningtofly. :) It was definitely a fun day--so good to be back at a motorcycle rally. There's always something or someone interesting, unique, and oftentimes downright weird to watch! Kinda like being at a three-ring circus. ;):joy:

Thanks, Steve! Good to see you back on the forum. :D How is that house construction going? Hope you're able to get on your motorcycle once in a while. Isn't it about time for you to post a professional motorcycle review for us one of these days soon? ;):)

Hi Sandi - well here's a picture of the conservatory being demolished last week (that's just the start) the wall between the kitchen and lounge is coming out next week so we are going to disappear for a few days!

Don't worry, I have still managed to get out on the bikes - watch out for some rideout posts soon - I just haven't had time to post much recently.

This was last Fridays cheeky ride to the Victorian seaside resort of Saltburn by the Sea (only 25 minutes away) with it's unique water powered cliff railway to take you down to the beach from the town.

This is the other way up and not the sharpest of the hairpins.

With any luck I should sell the Honda CX500 this weekend and so will have the cash to splash as they say. Watch out for possible bike reviews!

    @steve lovatt
Wow, Steve, I can see why you are going to "disappear" for a few days! I hope all goes smoothly with the next phase of your house remodel.

I'm glad to know you're getting out for a ride here and there. I really enjoyed the photos you posted of your ride to Saltburn by the Sea. It's amazing to me that a place such as this is only a 25 minute ride from your home. I was especially loved the photo taken from the top of the cliff railway looking down at the beach and sea. Gorgeous! That does look like a fun--and challenging--road to ride based on that hairpin. Looking forward to more rideout posts and also to some bike reviews in the near future!

Well @Wessa, I feel I can answer that now without it looking like I've hijacked @Sandi T 's thread!

I did sell the CX500 yesterday (hurrah) not an easy feat as I'm in North Yorkshire and the bike was in a barn in Wiltshire, but all credit to my mate Richard for sorting that out. Sold it for almost £3000, not bad considering I paid £875 for an eBay basket case.

I'm going to stick with two bikes from now on though - practicality and garage space dictates. This means I might change the Yamaha. There's nothing wrong with it, in fact it's a great bike for the sort of riding round here but there are a lot of bikes out there to try!

So, nothing arranged yet and I don't know how easy it will be to sort a test ride as rumours of demo bike shortages abound on the Internet and forums but we'll see.

Looking to try a Street Triple, probably the R rather than the RS (the more sophisticated suspension would be wasted on me) its also supposed to be the better everyday road bike.

Quite taken with the Kawasaki Z900rs. These bikes do look good (I know @andypandy has one) I've seen quite a few and it definitely nails that retro look. Probably a more comfortable bike for me than the Street but still with enough poke.

I do muss the old Rninet though, although not the Racers riding position so another model may be an option!

    Watch this space :D

Bought it Sep 2020 but only done 1,800 miles or so. It's sorned at the moment but I intend to get it back on the road soon. Main thing with it is the suspension needs sorting/adjusting. I'll have a play with it but I really want to take it to a pro. I took my Bandit here https://twsuspensiontech.co.uk/ a few years ago and the difference was night and day, so I just need to get my arse into gear and get the bike booked in.

Indeed it is too hard but the seat is thick and well padded so it's comfy. The hard suspension makes it skitish over white lines and ripples in the tarmac etc.
