    Brilliant ride report, writing, and photos, @DCS900! I really enjoyed reading your account not only of your route but the conditions, how you felt, your observations. It all made me feel like I was there. Even though I don't really know where "there" is save for on a map. :joy: And you nearly had me convinced to try camping (quite a feat, just ask Mr. Sandi) until you described waking up and getting out of your tent. :rolleyes: I'm not proud--it's hotel beds for me. :blush: It sounds like your mate TT is a wonderful friend. Glad he could make it out for a days ride with you. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! :heart:

    I've added the two places to the map that you recommended. Thanks for those - we were missing anything around the Borders and there are enough great roads up there to warrant a tea-and-cake-fuelled day out.
