Vinyl?

    I think I've made up my mind to have a matt metallic vinyl wrap on the Tiger. Just waiting for some costs and other info from a couple of specialists, but has anyone had it done to their bike (as opposed to a car) and - if so - were you happy with it?

    Been thinking of similar, all ive found out so far is that you shouldn't expect it to last more than 5 years and avoid leaving it in the sun.
    I also reckon any decals on the bike might show though as an outline so thats putting me off.

    There are definitely companies that do it successfully. The decals on the Tiger are completely flush and under the lacquered finish, so I don't see a risk there. I think the Triumph tank logo might be slightly raised, although the bike is outside and I actually can't remember for sure... even if it is I think that should still work with the wrap, though.
