    Are you on round or flat wound, roundwound can make a huge difference (tonally as well as the bright attack - which highlights buzz tones)

    It's a GREAT amp 300w 2x8 with a horn perfect for jazz and my acoustics . I have a vintage Boogie and a Mesa Bass amp with a 2x15 as well

    The Boogie Studio 22 is a myth! I have dreamt bout that amp everybody can hear on almost all Carlos Santana records.
    Went I was young (1990) I wanted that sound but didn't have enough money. I bough a Carvin X60 A that had similar circuit/tone.
    I still have that amp, and use it time to time for rehearsal or practice.
    Stage head Orange TH100, spare Marshall Origin 50H, and a vintage slanted Marshall 4X12 loaded with Eminence speakers (2 Wizard 2 Governor cross mounted.

    Heritage was started by the old Master Luthiers from Gibson who didn't want to move from Kalamazoo to Memphis . The H575 unlike it's ES 175 Gibson counterpart has carved top and back, the ES's are all laminate as are most semi-hollows. ( maple /poplar/maple) the H 535 is also a laminate just like the ES 335 . It is however a Nitro finish which Gibson doesn't do anymore. I have vintage and custom shop Gibson's and Heritage is easily equal if not superior.

    Here
    tbh I really couldn't tell you what was on that guitar.

    Normally I use roundwound with PVC covering - I tested the types (with & without PVC, too) regularly switching them and I preferred those on my Yamaha BB614. I don't think I get any buzzing on that, but the acoustic was a bit of a nightmare to try and play cleanly - a major part of why I sold it.

    One week ago, with my son on drums.
    Gibson SG ri61 ==> TC GSYSTEM==>Orange TH100 head==> Marshall 4X12
    I use a Two notes Captor to pickup the head sound and send it to PA (much quieter than the usual mic in front of the cab).

    Bought this recently to complete my Torpedo Captor.
    Looks like it's gonna be difficult to find in a near future.

    Building my grandsons 335 clones for their Birthdays. They will be 6 and 11 so I know they aren't ready for the fancy ones I've built for them. no lacquer on the Orange one yet ..

    Nice work dude… do you ever watch Crimson Custom guitars or Twoodfrd (a repairer) on YouTube?

    Little feedback about this gizmo.
    Spent the full day yesterday with my Jamiroquai tribute band, and gave a go to this little russian cab simulator.
    Orange Head ==> Two Notes Torpedo Captor 8 ==> Guitar Amp Cab
    ==> AMT CN1 ==> PA
    Unplugging the cab (the Torpedo Captor is a load box and avoid the amp head to burn), I can in seconds mimic the cab sound into the PA. No rocket science IR loader.
    Impressed how simple and efficient that Torpedo Captor + AMT CN1 is. My band mates were also convinced
    Next jigs, no more mic in front of my cab. This is the way to go.

    Electronic component shortage is a bit concerning those days.
    Musical industry is badly impacted
    Ordered a Marshall Origin 50W valve head 5th of January, announced 15th of March, now announced 15th of April..
    Looks like I gonna use my big Orange Head (aka Donald T) for all my rehearsal/jigs for a while.

    Repaired and refinished a 70 year old archtop I'd given my late dad 30+ yrs ago when he retired, over the years it developed cracks in the top and a disintegrated pick guard . Being a Luthier I was happy to repair it for my Son's 33rd birthday. The new Claro Walnut pick guard I made matches the fretboard wood and will last for many generations.

    YAMAHA just released a new guitar line REVSTAR inspired by custom bikes.
    Yamaha Motorcycle division designed some details of the guitars.
