Thruxton Thruxton R Front Fender

Hiya

I have managed to chip one the front fender struts on my Thruxton R.
Upon closer inspection I am not surprised it has chipped. The plastic appears to be pretty brittle.
I’m an advocate for Triumph genuine parts however on this occasion I begrudge paying nearly £80 for a replacement which will likely break again in the future.

Anyone on here found the same issue and more importantly a viable replacement which is better quality.

 

Thanks Just looked at it, nice looking bit of kit, bit looks daft next to the plastic struts on their site, you would expect a complete kit. I have no qualm with the Triumph fender itself just the struts.
