My Daytona really has to go this year, hardly ridden since MoT in the summer.
Very good condition, 23500 miles, 24k service done by Triumph @22042. Fluids changed last Summer.
Raised clipons, dual foam seat, Givi tank bag, Scorpion can + original. Tyres, c&s good. Lithium battery, upgraded reg/rec. Comes with rear seat cover.
Have plenty of other photos inc. with fairing lowers, etc off. Can take video of start up if wanted.
Looking for £2100. Looking for an 865 Scrambler if anybody fancies a swap plus cash

Nice to see it kept so pristine.

Thanks Joe, but would rather have been riding than cleaning! The reality is since my move to North Devon the roads and traffic have worsened around here so I end up pussyfooting around muddy lanes, stuck in tourist traffic, or looking for potholes, gravel, etc round every bend when I do find a quiet road! I don't get out on many rides further afield either so a Scrambler makes far more sense for me these days.

I second that emotion from Mid Devon! I suspect that we probably have a LOT more mud than do you ......... but, perhaps, slightly fewer grocks. Nice looking bike, Andy - hope you get a buyer for it.

I sold a Trident 900 last week. It had been on Gumtree for a few months and was also listed on here. I really thought it would go from the Gumtree ad. - had a couple of "serious" buyers that weren't actually serious enough to come and see it, so I drained it of fuel and restarted the Gumtree ad. in January. Viewing statistics looked good and I had another couple of enquiries but nothing more than that. Then somebody said - put it on Bacefook Marketplace. Not being a user of ANY soshal meedja I gave that no thought until my wife sold a couple of things via FB so I asked her to list it, supplied the blurb and the pics. and the bike was sold within a week to the second person to view it. And there was a raft of enquiries, all expressing serious interest or intent! The only reason it didn't sell to the first person to see it was that he hadn't realised how tall and heavy T3s are - the bike itself was, in terms of appearance, age, mileage and price exactly what he wanted, the risk of dropping it in tight spot manoeuvering was just too high!

I'm already feeling serious pangs of regret but the reality of my situation says it was the right thing to do and, ultimately, it will be a "zero sum game" as I'm looking forward to getting hold of a replacement bike in the not too distant ... when weather, time and circumstances permit!

    Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Adie - MORE mud?? Surely not!

I'm building up the strength to list on FB - I sold my Yam XT a few weeks ago on there but had to deal with so many idiotic enquiries and low ballers that I'm not looking forward to repeating the experience. Having said that the first serious buyer bought it within half an hour of seeing it......

"MORE mud?? Surely not!" Oh YES, indeed. Much more, I'd wager. This is farming/tractor central, mate - and I'm yet to meet a farmer that takes seriously their implicit reponsibility/duty to clean the mud off the roads. Combine (sic) that with the seemingly unending increases in tractor sizes and the number of "children" driving these things (the 'not under 16' on the road thing is laughable around here!!) and the outcome is inevitable.

As for dealing with the inevitable timewasters, tyrekickers and nosepickers, I think it has to be seen as a small price to pay for getting the thing sold more quickly. Liken it to a short illness against a long drawn out, debilitating disease! Hmmmm.... perhaps not the best of analogies! Your own recent experience provides irrefutable evidence of the benefits, though! :);)

Yes see where you are coming from here. I can't believe the state of our roads and the amount of idiotic drivers. Makes me wonder why are we paying road tax.

Had a good p/ex offer against an 08 Scrambler so I'm going for it.

Thanks for all the positive comments

Well done - hope you enjoy the more relaxed approach offered by the Scrambler!!

I've just picked up my replacement for the Trident I sold a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to get it out and about. Once the mud has finally been washed off the roads ........... ;)

Looking forward to getting out and about more, and plenty of aftermarket bits and pieces to think about!

    So what's replaced the Trident??

Sorry for the funny rating - it's not funny that you broke down there, of course, just 'funny peculiar' that the one photograph that I chose (kind of at random) to show off my new P&J is at a location that holds an entirely different emotion for you! The ironic thing is the photograph was sent to me by the seller AFTER I bought the bike (unseen except in ad photos!) so I had no idea of the location whereabouts. I'll try to download and add in the photos he had taken (by a pro photographer) with a Spitfire in the background.
