Hi Folks, Quick hello to all. Bought this fantastic speedie back in Jan 16, previously owned quite a few triumphs, including Tiger 955, Daytona 955 and sprint st 1050., all great bikes. This only had 8000 on the clock on a 58 plate, too good too miss, serviced it, full suspension overhaul done, rear linkage bearings were rusty, replaced and re lubed, front forks have been up to MCT, resprung/ revalved, big, big improvement. Hope to join in on the "bant" and perhaps go to a few meets!
Welcome in Straycat, great looking machine you got there, look in the rallies and rideout section to see details of the GRAND MEET UP 2016
Hi Straycat (anything to do with the 80's/90's group?) and welcome to the Triumph Asylum. Fit looking bike you have there
Welcome in Straycat, bike looks boss! Its good that you know exactly what to look for to bring the Speedie up to speed, suspension mostly. 8k miles on a 58'plate is fantastic, picked my 10' plate up with 10k miles 16months ago, now she is on 30k miles!
Nice area.they do the Dickens week if I recall their. My grandparents were from Gravesend. And I'm from Tilbury although I'm in Ireland now for 20 years. I was at Chatham a few months ago at the docks.always loved Kent. IF I ever return to the UK it will be to Kent.
Hi straycat, like the bike and the colour, but then I would say that wouldn't I? I'm biased. Enjoy and just try to keep that front wheel on the ground!
Welcome. Excellent colour that. I bet it's nearly as quick as my yellow one! The citrus colours are the fastest. FACT. ATB Bob
