Don't dump the tee-shirts, Grumps. You'll have to start collecting all over again when you get another Harley. Speaking of which, if you got another one tomorrow, which one would it be?? My first Harley (and motorcycle) was a 2010 Dyna Street Bob. So I had a Dyna from the same general time period as your Lowrider. I've always like the Lowrider models, along with the now "historical" Wide Glide models that @joe mc donald loves so much. The other Harley I had in the Dyna family was a 2012 Switchback--a great little bike that worked for touring, too.
Hey Sandi, I won't be dumping them, don't worry I think it's pretty much certain I'll have another one day. Choice wise ? Hmmm - a Deuce would be nice but I like the idea of building an old skool chop based on a custom frame and a 70's Ironhead motor. Kind of 'Easyrider' style. I had a choice of buying the Wide Glide or the Lowrider 4 years ago and have to say, it was a hard call. So, maybe a Glide too ? Who knows eh ? There's a lotta choice out there.
I've always loved the style of the Deuce, Grumps. Your idea sounds cool--and fun. Especially if you have another bike, say a T120 Bonneville, to ride when you aren't in the mood to look like Peter Fonda. I'd still think about buying a Wide Glide to add to my stable if I had more room...and more money. You are so right. There's a lotta choice out there! Nice to look around and contemplate those choices when you're not in a hurry. The tee-shirts will wait.
