Hi, Has anyone fitted engine bar guards to their Thruxton 1200?
What is your experience. Do they look ok?
Have they prevented damage in a low speed spill?
    What make fhave you chosen?
    How much did they cost?
    Thoughts welcomed

I have R&G crash guards on my TTR for 5 years. So far have not had to find out how well they work. They look good and pretty easy to install

    Any photos Phil?
I'm interested in how they look on the Thruxton 12.

Evotech also do some but another £60 and are round not aero shaped like the R&G ones. However, if the Evotech ones are like those I have fitted through the wheel spindles of my Street Triple I suspect you will find that even though they are securely fixed the bit that will actually touch the deck can still rotate freely and not just grind along the blacktop.
