She wouldn’t know her @r$e from her feckin elbow or be able to find it with both hands by the sounds of that. Feckin typical

To be fair Andy she isn't actually an MP, but the fact that you wouldn't immediately know that is where the agony lies. Truth is you could absolutely imagine a politician coming out with horseshit like that...

Don't worry, it almost caught me out as well. It's very tellng that we think MPs would (just about) stoop to this level of ridiculousness.

To be honest I’m a bit fed up with all the media hype about parties or not parties. Quite frankly I don’t give a feck. I would much prefer all politicians to focus on running the country and sorting out our energy bills, rather than the politics currently in play.

Johnson has always been a feckless attention junkie so this has been a long time coming. Sooner or later he was going to do something stupid and it's the nature of politics that other parties would jump on it. It sells newspapers because of the contrast with grieving members of the public who are understandably angry and upset at the double-standards.

We should hold people in high office to a high standard. It doesn't matter who that is, or what political persuasion they're from.

I get that those in power should be held to account. However the offence and the punishment has got to be proportional. In my mind the current fury is more about the politics from the opposition parties. As I said for me they should all be focussing on the important issues impacting all our lives and not worrying about whether it was a party or not. How many can say they did not bend the rules during the lock downs, I know that we did.
And before anybody says it was not fair on people, I and my family were impacted with a covid death and had to hold the funeral with only 10 in attendance and no wake.
I just thing people should get on with issues of today.

I agree except for one point. Should we accept our country being run by people who show such poor judgement and lack empathy when behind closed doors? That's why it's an issue.

From what I have observed during my lifetime nothing has changed in respect of those in power and is unlikely too going forward. If you cannot influence it don’t worry about it. We will have the opportunity to vote them out at the next election and we will be having a similar debates about the next lot during their tenure.

Sadly, this is all true. But I won't give up on my principles.
