Yesterday rode out to Lyme Regis along the coast on my new Bonnwville, 180 miles round trip. Was great in the sunshine but my arse pretty sore (please no ref to the lubing post) by the end. My son came back for the weekend and managed to hire a bike for the day (£75 not a bad deal).
Got insurance quote off Meerkat, MCE @£94, nothing like as bad as I expected, considering only 1 yr NCB and policy started last year on a 350 Royal Oilfield! Seen some horror stories on here regarding renewal quotes. 1 a quid cheaper (Hastings) but no leather/helmet cover or breakdown cover, Bennetts came 3rd at just over £100, but they wont get the gig anyway after last years set-up kerfuffle, bloody hopeless! Just found I'm a month early, but its not going to go up that much in a month!
FINALLY got around to fully fit my back brake. Got some brake lines from HEL (great company name!), didn't want anything too flashy so I went for carbolook for the lines, and copper for the banjos. So reassuring to have a nice strong back brake again! No mushiness, but also no locking up. Just perfect.
Hi Bob, choose "More Options..." when replying. There you can upload your file(s), and once they've been uploaded, you can insert them as thumbnails or full pictures.
Ah, found the little sod i think......... changed the lot. Lets hope no more petrol in the sump. Just have to wait for the other parts to come then the dreaded carbs back on
Hope it all comes together for you Wayne and all is sorted and no more leaks, canny old job for just a few o rings, though realise you've done them as part of a strip down.
Also make sure you are signed in or you won't get the option and make sure your file size ain't too large. You should have this at bottom of dialogue box
Winchester Classic Car and Bike breakfast meet yesterday at the football ground. Not a massive show but a few decent bikes and they let all bikes park in the line up. Don't look good in blue crispey?
