Surely We all Agree that it about stopping the spread of the virus. So vaccines do make sense. Those that have had the virus have antibodies as do those that have been vaccinated. That only leaves those that have Not had the vaccine and Not had the virus. If we all agree that it is about stopping the spread of the virus. What does this group of people want to do to help stop the spread of the virus ?
But I am pretty sure this says that 66% of the people hospitalized with the current variant are fully vaccinated and only 25% are unvaccinated. https://assets.publishing.service.g...efing-31-Dec-2021-Omicron_severity_update.pdf
I don't know anything about that situation and I would question your assertion in the first place based on ones you've made in the past, I'm afraid. It doesn't negate what I've already said, which is established science and data modelling.
Having contracted Covid doesn't provide complete, permanent immunity. It depends on how badly you had it and how long ago.

I'm pleased that we're looking at some real data. Kudos for sourcing that. However, I am pretty sure you have cherry-picked this table simply to maintain your position. So let's start with the answer to your question, which is in the paragraph directly below the table 3. "When interpreting Table 3 it should be understood that in a population with high vaccine coverage, the majority of cases will occur in vaccinated individuals. In comparison to the vaccination uptake in England there are higher proportions of cases in unvaccinated individuals and lower proportions who have received their third dose or booster. Vaccine effectiveness cannot be inferred from this table and vaccine effectiveness is described in section 3 below." Then let's move on to the summaries of the two studies. Study 1: Risk of hospitalisation (UKHSA/MRC Biostatistics Unit, University of Cambridge) "In this analysis, the risk of hospitalisation is lower for Omicron cases after 2 and 3 doses of vaccine, with an 81% (77 to 85%) reduction in the risk of hospitalisation after 3 doses compared to unvaccinated Omicron cases." Study 2. Vaccine effectiveness against symptomatic infection and hospitalisation (UKHSA) "After 3 doses of vaccine, the risk of hospitalisation for a symptomatic case identified with Omicron through community testing was estimated to be reduced by 68% (42 to 82%) when compared to similar individuals with Omicron who were not vaccinated (after adjusting for age, gender, previous positive test, region, ethnicity, clinically extremely vulnerable status, risk group status and period). Combined with the protection against becoming a symptomatic case, this gives a vaccine effectiveness against hospitalisation of 88% (78 to 93%) for Omicron after 3 doses of vaccine."
I read the report and used the table to show that it is not the unvaxed filling the hospitals. People can define the data anyway they want but the simple fact is, in raw numbers there are more vaxed people in the hospital than unvaxed.
Not being vaccinated has been fatal for about 3 people I know and even if one catches omicron it isn't as severe as those who have not been vaccinated. I would rather have whatever immunity the vaccines can offer than become a giant petri dish for the virus to mutate to a new more deadly one.
I don't know a single person whose died from it, nor do I even know anyone who knows anybody whose died from it. Moreover, I've known quite a few people over the last 2 years, including myself… and the Mrs(who has a permanently compromised immune system), who have symptomatically contracted it. No one at any point was the slightest bit concerned that they may die. It was a mild flu. Furthermore, there's been numerous cases of persons in the US who've died from things completely removed from covid, such as auto accidents and gunshot wounds, who happened to have covid antibodies in their systems at the time they got smoked, who were recorded as covid deaths. True story.
My co-workers father died of COVID, according to his death certificate, but I am sure the heart disease and partial kidney failure had something to do with it since they found out about the COVID postmortum. Remember the motorcycle crash that was listed as a COVID death? https://cbs12.com/news/local/man-wh...h-counted-as-covid-19-death-in-florida-report
How about something from the guy that invented the mRNA vaccines? Would he be "medical expert" enough for you. Sorry I know you are going to hate that the videos are on Rumble but he has been banned on all of the majors, youtube, twitter, facebook, ect. But was the lead scientist that invented the mRNA technology. Banning tends to happen when someone doesn't agree with the main stream even when they are an expert. https://rumble.com/vqq7gc-dr.-robert-malone-before-you-inject-your-child.html https://rumble.com/vjfnf5-dr.-robert-malone-inventor-of-mrna-tech-tucker-carlson-vaccine-risks.html
Serious studies (yes we have now to detail when it is serious) give an average 8 months immunity. But some can get reinfected within a few weeks.
It was, according to the article you refer to. "The outbreak represents 0.78 per cent of the 6,091 passengers"
Well you are very lucky. We have two family members who have been taken by covid. Keep on pumping out the nonsense about covid and don’t have the vaccine. I really could not give a flying feck what you do.
There is no point discussing with people that don't trust anything and are drown in belief and confirmation biais. 50+ pages later, it's spinning in circles. Whatever the factual elements some may bring to the discussion, next post we are back to the starting point. To those, don't get the jab if you like, but don't try to find rational explanation to your choice/belief there are none.
I believe I've said that like 3 times now, and without taking the opportunity to take another petty jab at the opposition's point of view. Pun intended. Likewise, so by all means keep huffin' on that MSM crackpipe.
