An ostheopathic than made a business from misinformation (even in France). You are a champion. I hope you give him a lot of money. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/24/technology/joseph-mercola-coronavirus-misinformation-online.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...c01078-c29c-11e9-b5e4-54aa56d5b7ce_story.html etc.. Was it you that months ago already wrote on this forum the well known fake Wakefield study? I think it was. Come back in real world, or keep all those stuff for you. Not sure a motorcycle forum needs that.
Having read the Chippenham study, it would appear then, that Traveller is related to these fine upstanding English folk.
So if you do get the virus will you also be opting out of potentially life saving treatment with legitimate reasons. Asking for a friend.
You use wikipedia as a reference to try and discredit the Epoch Times. That is laughable. I understand that ET tends to take a more right wing view but they also tend to report more fact based articles than opinions. Except, of course, in their Opinion articles but these are normally clearly marked as opinion. Most of the remaining Main Stream Media bases every article on opinion and all of the media tends to follow a political viewpoint, some more than others.
To be fair, there's a lot more than Wikipedia to draw on that all say the same thing about the Epoch Times. You're right that many media outlets have a political bias but that particular organisation appears to based on a predetermined principle and has a very strong agenda. They also appear to have significant amounts of money behind them to push the bias even further to the right. Before you know it, what purports to be news becomes propoganda pushed by people using their wealth to influence opinion for their own purposes.
This... And that... Which is even more laughable, as if left-wing media sources aren't stacked to the gills with funding and lobbyists to spread their bunk.
Ok progress, we have moved from vaccine to politics. Right vs left and anything in between. This is not going to end well. Can we not all just go back to discussing bikes; it is much more fun and interesting
Survival rates of ventilated Covid patients is below that of patients ventilated for other reasons; it is nothing to do with virus expulsion but to do with the long term effects of negative pressure ventilation on the lungs of Covid patients - there is thought that their lungs have more elasticity than those treated for a conventional pneumonia and that pressures need to be lower, the secretions are also of a different consistency to a conventional pneumonia. There is move towards later intubation and invasive ventilation for these patients for many reasons as I understand it with more time on continuous positive airway pressure ventilation delivered via mask and positional support (nursing patients on their fronts for instance)- this reduces the risks of long term invasive ventilation (the mortality rate increases as the intubation time increases and Covid patients are likely to require quite extensive respiratory support) and obviously the risks of the difficulties faced by the unique challenges presented by Covid. Along with the mechanical damage, these types of patients I believe are normally kept quite dry and this can impact upon renal function. As I understand from scientific studies that have been conducted the mortality rate is higher as patients are often sicker than others at the time that invasive ventilation is considered for them due to the unique nature of Covid (lower oxygen saturations) and they are less likely to withstand longer term invasive ventilation than others due to their compromised physical state. Their death is not because a virus is "trapped" in their lungs - air does not remain static and unexpelled anyway during ventilation. I apologise for the long winded post but have followed this thread and some misinformation seems to be straying into dangerous territory.
I totally agree. Lets talk Bikes, more fun. So I rode my Triumph to the Vaccination centre to get my jab
Coincidently enough, early on in this shitshow when I lived downtown and everyone was being pathetic little mask nazis, I'd just keep my helmet on when in a joint… until I sat down at a table, the bar or other little magically miraculous "covid-fee zone" inside an otherwise "100% mask & social distancing establishment." Only one time did anybody say anything… "Ummmm, sir- we require face coverings in here." So I just dropped my visor and carried on.
