Thanks very much guys for your very kind support - it means a lot right now. A pal has just offered to lend me his 2nd bike - an XJR1300 that I helped him buy, so if that works out I'll have a plan B.
oooohh harsh XJR 1300 is a great proven bike, one motorcycle is as good as another so long as it gets you there, may not look as but you'll be there Dave, !!!! and its easily hidden behind all the TRIUMPH's Plan B is good !!
Sorry to hear about this Dave - just when it looked as if it might be sorted. The good news is that you'll be coming thanks to your mate . Wouldn't have been as much fun without "The founding father of The Grand Meet Up" being there!
Thanks guys. I haven't been without a bike for this long in many, many years and when I said to Wend that I would sell my bike to help fund the new house purchase I hadn't expected it to be this shitty for so long. Won't be doing this again
Nothing again!!! Another weekend away from my babies! Haven't ridden them for over a week now! Do they forget you when you've been away!
They will be wagging their proverbial tails the next time you go to visit them mate - no worries at all
Fitted the evotech rad and oil cooler guards. Cheers for the recommend guys they are quality items and they look great....especially the pressed out EP logo in the middle. Also fitted a slightly smaller reg plate. Only an inch each way but as SWMBO says, every little helps. Taking the boat sail standard size off has GOTTA be worth another 10mph
Yeh Yeh Yeh Wasp Nae good coming on here and just telling us that your extra's look good, It dont mean owt to us lot without the PICTURES to back it up.
He he, no. It IS however homage to King Kevin Schwantz. Perhaps i should've put down my Guy Martin rep??? atb Bob
That doesn't look good wasp, it looks bloody beautiful could deliver you a smile on the cloudiest of days, striking yellow I do agree the lid just does not do the bike justice needs a streak of yellow Looking forward to more pictures,
This afternoon is a nice little ride out to a local pub where a classic bike club meets, sitting on the grass enjoying the sun, can't be better
Stripped pens carbs and found where my oil leak was.alternator rubber broken. So ordered a new one .changed the float seals . Working in the sun thinking what a time to have to strip my bike going to have to wait for parts now. ......Bugger
