Do they extract that from Johnson's babies? Does he know who they all are?

At this point all the residents in Oslo's nursing homes have had the offer. Only 6 pct. declined.

I read this earlier today and it's very promising! I especially thought of those of you in the UK who are waiting longer than the "standard" 3 weeks until your 2nd Pfizer jab or 4 weeks for the Moderna. This research is specific to Pfizer but seems like it would be likely to be the same or similar for Moderna since the vaccine is based on the same mechanism.

I’ve been double jabbed and now ready for booster BUT not taking it,we need to learn to live with it as booster lasts about 10 weeks then guess what oh you need another booster etc etc etc, never going to end if we keep shutting country down every time a new variant appears

10 weeks, that's a new one to me, @chuk. I'm interested and curious about the source of that information.

I'm thinking I'll be learning to live with Covid when it morphs into something like the common cold or the flu and I can simply get an annual booster like the flu shot. I can definitely live with that. From multiple articles I've read, it sounds like that may be beginning to happen. Based on what we currently know (which could of course change as research continues), omicron is more highly transmissible than other variants but its symptoms are less severe. Sort of like the flu. I guess the virus is "figuring out" that its killing off its hosts. :p

For what it’s worth Xmas eve front page of the express had article stating that a 4th jab will be offered soon as the booster starts to fade in effectiveness after 10 weeks,I’m all for people getting it if it’s their choice that’s up to the individual and if it makes you feel more reassured go for it,but not for me I’m afraid btw my wife and son got omicron variant and I didn’t even though in same house, yes I isolated for 10 days and took time off work and lost wages, text from track and trace had an option to contact local council for a £500 grant but I was over the thresh for ANY help,as nobody in home claiming benefits oddly and I earned more than minimum wage I got ZERO,the whole things IMHO had been vastly overplayed as SO FAR only vey mild symptoms for omicron, while thing stinks and NOT exactly encouraging anyone to take time off work when you don’t get ANY financial help as promised FFS

@Traveller , @chuk you are entitled to believe what you want about the vaccine and the pandemic, but to be honest I would rather listen to the science. I appreciate that it has changed and this is to be expected when dealing with something new and we have not experienced before. Life is evolving and it is a fact that the latest variant is more transmitable than previous ones. If you do not get the vaccine it is your choice. There are many unvaccinated people that have died and which before they departed wished that they had had the vaccine.
