Robbie the Robot. I got one for being a good boy when I had my tonsils removed when I was 4.

    Blimey,memory lane,love it.
My first watch was a Hopalong Cassidy one,it came in a box shaped like a saddle and the reverse of the watch had "Good luck fom Hoppy" engraved on it. think it was based on a kids Timex watch.

Supercar, (H.o. I think the main character was Mike Mercury).I used to have a dinky or corgi toy of supercar but I dropped it one day and the plastic clear roof broke off, bet it would be worth thousands now, seeing as only a couple of us remember it,lol, loved all the Gerry Anderson stuff, excellent. Favourite was Fireball XL5 with Zoonie the lazoon......."welcome home", anyone recall that or is it just me??

Noggin the Nog was kinda black and quite scary, loved it tho

Captain pugwash also used to be a cartoon strip in a newspaper, cant recall but it may have been the Sun Sketch Mirror or Express,my dad had them all at one time or other?? No unfortunately there never was a Seaman Staines or a Master Bates or Roger the cabin boy but we all thought there was didnt we?? lol

Now the nice stuff, Rag tag and Bobtail and tales of the riverbank

Does anyone remember Hiram Holiday, think he was a sort of superhero in the early 60s

Too true, Chopper's and Grifters were well before my time but both my boys had them, and all of the above applies to them as well as me.
Only difference was they were bringing c90 tapes for them nu-fangled computers home, me telling them to concentrate on proper school work and stop buggering about with things that will never catch on!!
    See? I was right too!!!!

Sadly it's all a myth - these "rude" names never really existed. It was Master Mates.

I kid you not, this poor guy has my name with Kerr as a sir name!!

Wayne Kerr (born 14 March 1985 in Dublin, Ireland) is a rugby league player for Oldham Roughyeds in the Championship One. He is an Ireland international.[1] He has previously played for London Skolars[2] andCarlow Crusaders.

He was a member of the Ireland squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup, and went on to make one appearance in the tournament.[2]

He now plays Rugby Union with Cill Dara RFC. He plays blindside flanker :oops::oops: is that a spelling mistake...... i think it should be a a Blindside Wayne Kerr ..:D:D:D:D Bet his glad his surname isnt KING.
