I thought it would be interesting to see the 4 favourite artists/bands of forum members, it's not easy but I've just picked 4 of my all time favourites...Elvis, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, The Stones

Not sure I could answer this I one go. So given my diverse tastes will go alphabetically…

    ABBA
    BEATLES
    CHOPIN
    DIRE STRAIGHTS

I’m sure Elvia and Pink Floyd would figure further up the alphabet.

    Great idea for a post.

Wondering what more sensible people will post.

It's hard to pick just four but,
    Pink Floyd
    Led Zep
    Jethro Tull
    Free
I could have put Deep Purple in at number 4 but the bassy bluesy Free just does it.

Very difficult to nail down just four and a changeable list at that, except for the first two.

    Stones
    Pink Floyd
    Chicago
    Linda Ronstadt

I have an old Ipod. I use it whenever I'm doing something tedious (yard work, etc.). I decided I'd load only my very favorite songs. The songs I'd sit in the car and finish listening to before going inside. All downloaded legally, paid for through a subscription service my wife had.

There are over 700 songs on it. o_O

Impossible to really say... it changes week by week, mood by mood....

    AC/DC (both eras)
    Black Sabbath (all eras)
    Led Zeppelin
    Brighouse and Rastrick

No way exhaustive of my top bands, but I guess these are most likely to feature in any playlist I set up.

It's hard to choose a top 4, it can change but these 4 will always be somewhere near the top of my top ten or so!

    Hanoi Rocks
    Ted Nugent
    Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Whitesnake

I like Japan, too - but we're only allowed 4 and I think David is better solo... (especially when collaborating with Ryuichi Sakamoto).
