    Has anyone tried to remove the original Triumph logo from their Street Twin? My ST is gloss black and the logo is lacquered over, so I can't just heat and peel the bugger off. I think I know the answer is 'it can't be done' but I thought I'd ask the question just in case.
    If it can't be done, has anyone come up with a way of successfully replacing it or covering it with an alternative? The badges from the T100 & T120 won't quite fit because the tanks are different shapes.
    What I really want is a larger font, in gold. Am I right in assuming that the only way to do it is with a complete tank respray?

    Good question. I haven’t liked the logos on subsequent Tigers since my 2016 model. It’s bizarre not to buy a new bike as a result. But that’s what’s happened.

    Getting rid of the offending art work might be a solution.

    Isn’t Vinyl wrapping the thing to do these days?

    Well that looks pretty straightforward. I'll nip down to my local newsagent and pick up some sticky-backed plastic, borrow my wife's hairdryer and give it a go this afternoon. I'm sure I remember Valerie Singleton doing something very similar on Blue Peter, I always said she was ahead of her time.

    @beerkat - :joy:

    nice one, I wasn’t suggesting you go ahead and do it… but as an alternative (and I believe reversible) to re spray… to be done by a pro?

    When a logo is lacquered over it’s a one way start to a ‘strip off’ of paint and there’s no going back. Best left alone as it’ll incur a full paint job
